Dylan Michael Pisechko

Watching him get on the bus at 3...
Watching him put BBQ SAUCE on EVERYTHING...
Watching him wrestle with that "killer" Duke...
Watching him become the fine young man and father he is...
Priceless, Priceless, PRICELESS!!!
On my way, proud beyond words, to his college graduation.
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!! :)

Change....

I feel that I am at a real crossroads with multiple "key" events rushing at me. I feel myself digging in my heels against the pressure. Over time I have learned that control is an illusion. I want to stay flexible, yet don't want to be swept away.

Like a boat in rough seas, I want to stay the course while still actively navigating around the "worst of it". I don't know if I know how.

To my son Dylan

Happy Birthday Dylan. I miss you. Hopefully this greeting finds you in a blissful slumber...but maybe not. From the "Nyquil Incident" to on the bus at 3 to leaving home at 16, you have accomplished so much. You are a fine son, a supportive and loving grandson and now a devoted and doting father. You have grown into so much in your short years. I am so very proud to tell anyone who'll stand still long enough all about my wonderful, brilliant, strong and caring son. Enjoy your day...count the blessings around you and know that I love you son. Dad

Another year gone.....

The demise of my iPhone has me on a new phone and reinstalling software. As I installed blogger, I saw that it had been more than a year since my last post. A year since I was derailed in my workout regimen. A year since I've made any noticeable progress on my BBQ business. A year since I've made any progress in my career.
However.....I've had a 1 year anniversary...worked hard to be a better father and best of all I've seen the birth of my first grandchild. Joseph Wyatt Pisechko joined the family on February 23rd at 5:41 am on a cold snowy Saturday in Columbia Missouri. That being said, I guess its been a pretty good damn year.

Well...lots more to do and obviously time is flying by. In the words of Big Tim...."I've got the talkin part done!"

Power 90 - Day 19

In the books!! Long week. Extra midnight shift, yesterday was rest day from workout but spent it pulling radiator out of red car. So not much rest this week.
Workout today wasn't bad and pushups went better. Does anyone else have an issue with resistance bands? I can't seem to get "even" length on two handed exercises. On the single arm ones I don't know if I'm getting same resistance every time. I guess I could mark it with a Sharpie. Might have to buy some free weights in time.
Ate HORRIBLE last night. I haven't been super strict but here's a hint. When on any kind of diet, stay away from anything named Monte Cristo!!!
Yea yea, I'm a foodie so I knew exactly what I was getting and don't know why I did it??!! Oh well it's done so now just gotta "uneat" my way out of it this weekend.
Remember, even on the tough days, JUST PUSH PLAY!!

Power 90 - Day 16

Hell yea bitches!! Pushed play and did not have to push pause during the workout.
Power Yoga still sucks!! This "bunny" ain't got enough hops!! My TH100 AB routine is more like the TH75. LOL
Having said all of that, getting better. One day at a time is where it's at! I will get it done. It feels good and it's working. Heaven knows I need sine thing to go right.
